Check out our 2017 annual report

Check out our 2017 annual report The 2017 Khan Academy annual report is here! As a nonprofit organization, we’re grateful for our donors and honored to share the work they make possible. We’re also excited to celebrate the success of students and teachers who used Khan Academy in 2017. Here are a few highlights:• School districts across the country and around the world partnered with Khan Academy in 2017 to bring our free resources into classrooms, especially those with traditionally underserved and underrepresented demographics. We’re proud to work with teachers to provide in-class practice, homework, review, and test prep.• We announced that practicing for the SAT on Khan Academy is associated with significant score gains. Research shows studying for the SAT for 20 hours on Khan Academy is associated with an average score increase of 115 points, nearly double the average score gain of students who don’t use Khan Academy.• More than one million students and 23,000 teachers took part in LearnStorm, our first-ever national education challenge. Students logged 90 million minutes of learning! We continue to have an impact where it’s needed most: 55% of students who participated in LearnStorm in 2017 attended schools where a majority of students qualify for free and reduced-price lunch.2017 was a big year for Khan Academy. As we look ahead toward the second half of 2018 and beyond, we’re energized to continue our work to support students and teachers around the world.
